CDBC is excited to host a national bass tournament, the 33rd Annual Team Tournament of National Bass Assoication of the Deaf. It will run from June 7 to 12, 2008, to be held at Clear Lake in Kelseyville, California. The headquarters will be stationed in Konocti Harbor Resort, which is one and half hour drive north of Sacramento. If you re not going to fish, you can come out as a fan to watch the excitiing moments - the weight-in after each day of the tournament.
"Clear Lake is known as the "Bass Capitol of the West" for good reason: No other lake west of Mississippi produces quality bass like it does. Five pounders are common and a 10-pounder doesn't even faze a veteran fisherman", F&H News, April 25-May 12, 2005.
CDBC is excited to invite CalBass as the host of 25th Anniversay of Junior National Bass Association for the Deaf, which will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008. CalBass will provide a workshop
including ethical fishing practices, concepts of conservation; improving
fishing skills and types of tackle, fishing methods and techniques. NBAD will also
give a $1,000 scholarship for the winner of the 13 - 17 year age group. Click here for more information .
